Sarah Djerf has a diverse professional background in the wine and hospitality industry. Sarah began their career in 2009 at Castello di Monsanto as a Marketing & Hospitality professional. In 2011, they became an Independent Wine Consultant and Writing Professional at Sentiamo. From 2012 to 2015, Sarah worked at Nelly.com as a Translator and at ITA - Italian Trade Agency as a Trade Analyst. During this time, they also held the role of Editor at LRF Media AB. In 2014, they took on the role of Manager at Tuscan Wine School, where they were responsible for bookings and social marketing, as well as teaching classes about wine and food. In 2016, Sarah became an Editor/Journalist at Bonnier Magazines & Brands. Most recently, they have been the Chief Brand Officer at Vinoteket.com since 2022.
Sarah Djerf began their educational journey in 2004, when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in political science from Università degli Studi di Firenze. Sarah then went on to receive a Sommelier certification from Federazione Italiana Sommelier in 2006-2008. In 2007-2009, Sarah obtained a Masters degree in Wine Marketing & Management from Università degli Studi di Firenze. Finally, Sarah is currently enrolled in Berghs School of Communication to pursue a Digital Brand Strategy program, which they will complete in 2022.
