Christopher James

Christopher James has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Partner at Vinson & Elkins since May 2016, with previous roles as Counsel and Senior Associate within the firm. Prior to this, Christopher worked as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from October 2012 to May 2016, and also completed a Summer Associate position there in 2011. In 2010, Christopher gained legal research experience as a Research Assistant for Kathleen Brickey at Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Christopher holds a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (2009-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with concentrations in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business (2005-2009).
