Kendall Carey

Kendall Carey has extensive work experience in the field of analytical sciences and technology, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Kendall is currently the Director Head of Analytical Sciences and Technology at Vinta Bio, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Analytical Sciences and Technology at Precision BioSciences, Inc. from July 2021 to July 2022. Before that, they worked at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. as part of the Analytical Sciences and Quality Control team from June 2020 to July 2021. Notably, Kendall also held the position of Director at Celgene from July 2017 to June 2020. Kendall started their career at Genentech, where they held various roles including Senior Research Associate from September 1992 to July 1997. Overall, Kendall has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical analysis and quality control.

Kendall Carey has a strong educational background in the field of biology. Kendall obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Ohio State University between 1984 and 1989. Later, they pursued a higher degree, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Oregon Health & Science University from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Kendall Carey obtained a certification in preventing workplace harassment in January 2019.
