Giulia Benini DipWSET has a wealth of experience in the wine industry. Giulia began their career in 2012 as a Sommelier at L'Anima Restaurant in London. In 2013, they worked as a Wine Educator for the Wine Tasting Experience at Vinopolis, and as a Sommelier for Bedales Wines. Giulia then worked as a Marketing Assistant for Wine Tours & Events at Donnafugata in 2014, and as a Wine Shop Manager for Wine Tours & Events at Azienda Agraria Guerrieri. In 2016, they joined William Reed Business Media Ltd. as a Staff Member for the International Wine Challenge. In 2017, they were promoted to Associate Judge for the International Wine Challenge, and also worked as an Account Executive for the Export Sales & Marketing Department at AZIENDA VINICOLA UMANI RONCHI. In 2021, they were appointed as an Export Manager at Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo srl, and will begin as a Regional Sales Manager at Vinventions in 2022.

Giulia Benini DipWSET has an extensive education history. In 2009, they obtained a Master's degree in Trade Marketing and Sales Strategies from Università degli Studi di Parma. Between 2002 and 2006, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università Politecnica delle Marche. In 2021, they completed an online course in Social Media Marketing from Marketers Academy. In 2020-2021, they took a Digital Marketing Professional diploma course from Shaw Academy. In 2018-2019, they obtained a Diploma (Level 4) from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Additionally, they obtained a 3° livello certification from AIS Associazione Italiana Sommelier in 2009-2012. Her additional certifications include a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from WSET Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2020, a Sommelier Certificate from Associazione Italiana Sommelier in 2012, an FCE First Certificate of English from University of Cambridge in 2007, and an ECDL European Computer Driver License in 2006.
