Babatunde Anthony Adekunle

Babatunde Anthony Adekunle began their work experience as a Locum Pharmacist at Wonderful Direct Pharmacy in 2015. Babatunde Anthony then went on to work as an Intern Pharmacist at Ring Road State Hospital, where they managed the reporting and record-keeping of antimalarial drugs and handled drug requisition and dispensing at the airport clinic pharmacy.

In 2017, Babatunde joined One Finance & Investment Limited as a Data Science Intern. During their time there, they built predictive models for loan default based on customer interactions with applications and installed applications on their mobile phones. Babatunde Anthony also analyzed large amounts of data to design models for customer behavior and risk management, and created a predictive model based on customer contacts and behavior to explore how customer networks could affect loan default.

Starting in 2018, Babatunde worked at SEAMFIX as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist. Babatunde Anthony later became the Lead Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist and then the Data Science and Machine Learning Architect. In these roles, they were responsible for building and implementing production-level artificial intelligence algorithms. Babatunde Anthony also researched and guided the implementation and deployment of systems for data gathering, training machine learning models, and evaluating artificial intelligence models.

Most recently, Babatunde joined Vio.com (formerly FindHotel) in 2021 as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

Babatunde Anthony Adekunle completed their education in a chronological order. Babatunde Anthony obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University between 2009 and 2015. In 2016, they earned several certificates from Cognitive Class, including the Certificate of Achievement in Data Science Methodology, Introduction to Data Science, Machine Learning with Python, Machine Learning 101, and Spark Fundamentals I. Additionally, in 2017, they received the Project Management Professionals Certification from Project Management Academy Inc. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained the Certificate of Achievement in Reactive Architecture: Introduction to Reactive Systems from Cognitive Class. Later, in 2020 - 2021, they completed an Applied Data Science Module from WorldQuant University. Finally, in 2023 - 2024, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Canadian Business (Management) from York University. Babatunde Anthony recently obtained the TensorFlow Developer Certificate from the TensorFlow Certificate Program in June 2021.
