Mehmetcan T.

Mehmetcan T. has a diverse work experience across various industries. Mehmetcan started their career as a Summer Intern at TAV Information Technologies in 2014. Mehmetcan then interned at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. as a PEP Intern in Business Intelligence in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Turkcell.

From 2017 to 2019, Mehmetcan T. held two positions. Firstly, they worked as a Data Analyst at Adphorus from April to November 2017. Mehmetcan then joined Hepsiburada as a Data Scientist, where they created end-to-end targeting pipelines and worked on product scoring, personalized sorting, and recommenders until January 2019.

In 2019, Mehmetcan T. joined trivago as a Data Analyst from January to June. Later in the same year, they started working at Getir as a Data Scientist/Algorithm Developer, focusing on real-time routing optimization and courier-order assignments using geospatial data and efficient algorithms.

Most recently, Mehmetcan T. became a Senior Data Scientist at Vio.com (formerly FindHotel) in November 2020, where they are currently working.

Mehmetcan T. completed their high school education from Bahçeşehir Fen ve Teknoloji Lisesi, where they focused on studying science. Mehmetcan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University, which they completed from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, Mehmetcan T. also had the opportunity to study Industrial Engineering for a year at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2013 to 2014.
