Jiayang (Joe) He (Ho)

Joe He's work experience begins in 2015 at the University of Washington, where they worked as a Research Assistant and AeroSpec Team Leader. As the team leader, they were responsible for designing the PM collection cartridge for chemical composition analysis, developing the PEM system, evaluating the performance of the injection-molded cartridge, and creating a website to host the chemical analysis algorithm and library. Jiayang (Joe) also secured funding for the project and assisted in commercialization activities. In 2022, they joined Violett as the Director of Platform.

Jiayang (Joe) Jiayang (Joe) (Ho) began their education in 2009 at Shandong University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering until 2010. Jiayang (Joe) then transferred to Northern Arizona University and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2014.

In 2014, Jiayang enrolled at the University of Washington and earned a Master's Degree in Energy, Fluid Dynamics, and Aerosol Technology from 2014 to 2016. Continuing their education at the same institution, they then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, which they successfully completed between 2017 and 2019.
