Mark Santanocito has over 40 years of work experience, starting with their time in the United States Army as a Senior Computer Systems Test Engineer where they attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Mark provided system analysis, management, and operational analysis for multi-vendor compute platforms. Following their military career, Mark worked at Digital Equipment Co. as a Multi-vendor Customer Service Engineer, where they provided hardware and software support for enterprise computer systems and networks. Mark also installed and implemented storage area networks and designed, documented, and maintained storage and computer equipment. Mark then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Computer Systems Technology Consultant, where they provided technical consulting expertise to customers and internal project teams for problem resolution and solution development. Mark also served as a project manager for server consolidation and workstation migration projects. After Hewlett-Packard, Mark worked at Brocade as a Software/Hardware QA Test Engineer, participating in product requirements document reviews, defining test plans and cases, and conducting performance, conformance, and regression tests for current and new product releases. Most recently, they worked at Violin Memory as a Senior QA Engineer, leading a team in developing test plans and designing test cases for product releases. Mark defined test plans and cases for current and new features and conducted manual and automated testing.
Mark Santanocito completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from De Anza College from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in the same field from the University of Maryland between 1985 and 1989.
