Christian Blanchet

Christian Blanchet is an experienced geologist and environmental consultant with a diverse background in mining exploration and environmental management. Currently serving as a senior project geologist at Vior Inc. since June 2016, Christian is responsible for developing and managing mining exploration projects. Prior roles include independent consulting in environmental management, stakeholder coordination at Rio Tinto Fer et Titane, and various positions in environmental coordination and advisory roles within the Rio Tinto group. Christian holds a DESS in Eco-advising from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Université Laval. With extensive project experience in Quebec and Northern Ontario, Christian has contributed significantly to studies and initiatives related to environmental impact and community engagement in mining contexts.
