Tim Winkeler

Tim Winkeler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tim began their career at Dana Corporation in 1992, where they worked as an Engineer before transitioning to the role of Engineering and Manufacturing Manager in 1997. After leaving Dana Corporation, Tim joined Remy International in 1999. At Remy International, they held various positions including Engineering Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Vice President of Sales. During their time at Remy International, Tim successfully managed Sales and Marketing teams, implemented Category Management strategies, and exceeded targets. In 2010, Tim joined VIP Tires & Service, where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Merchandising, Chief Operating Officer, President and COO, and currently serves as the company's President and CEO. In their role at VIP Tires & Service, Tim has been responsible for improving company performance through leadership of the Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams. Tim has implemented disciplined Category Management processes, improved approach to Merchandising and supplier relationships, and advanced customer contact strategies.

Tim Winkeler earned their MBA degree in Finance from Oklahoma City University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained their bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Tim has acquired several certifications including C1 - Automotive Service Consultant from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in April 2015, Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training in April 2014, P2 - Parts Specialist from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in March 2017, and Certified Instructor from the Tire Industry Association in April 2017.
