Emily Canaday

Emily Canaday is a skilled educator and engineer with extensive experience in teaching English and process design engineering. Currently serving as a Teacher of English at VIPKID since March 2018, Emily previously worked as a Process Design Engineer at Southland Industries from August 2016 to September 2017. At the University of Oklahoma, Emily held several roles, including Supervisor Office Assistant in the Student Learning Center, where responsibilities included managing office assistants and facilitating communication between staff. Additionally, Emily was a Dean's Leadership Council Recruiter, engaging with prospective engineering students, and participated as a TEACH panelist. Early career experiences included internships at UOP, A Honeywell Company, focusing on chemical engineering and research and development. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, earned in 2016.
