Excy Guardado

Excy Guardado is an experienced educator and program facilitator with a diverse background in teaching and support roles. Currently serving as a Teacher of English at VIPKID and an English Language Arts Reading Teacher at New Frontiers Charter School, Excy focuses on fostering intellectual and social growth in students. As a Corps Member with Teach For America, Excy is part of a selective national teaching corps, contributing to significant student achievement through intensive training. Additionally, Excy has experience as an Adult Program Assistant at St. Coletta of Greater Washington, providing essential support and coaching to adults, and has previously worked in various roles, including as a Research Intern at Life Paths Appalachian Research Center and an ESL Instructor at the Cumberland ESL program. Excy holds a Bachelor's Degree in International and Global Studies with a focus in Latin America from The University of the South.
