Amy Rock

Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Vir Biotechnology

Amy Rock has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, having held various leadership positions in reputable biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Amy joined Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2001 as Vice President of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs and played a pivotal role in building the company's Regulatory Affairs Department. During their time there, they managed all interactions with the FDA. In 2016, Amy moved to ImmunityBio where they served as Vice President of Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs until 2020. Amy then joined Vir Biotechnology, Inc. as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, eventually being promoted to Senior Vice President in 2022.

Amy Rock earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. Later, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from the University of Kentucky, studying from 1995 to 2000. In 2002, they completed their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management.
