Jessica Preciado, PhD

Jessica Preciado, PhD has a long and varied work experience. Jessica began their career in 1998 as a Research Assistant at the UC Berkeley BioThermal Engineering Lab. In 1999, they took on the role of Student Researcher at the Medical Technology Program. From 2001 to 2004, they held the position of National Science Foundation Research Fellow and Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow. From 2003 to 2006, they held various roles at the University of California, Berkeley, including UC Dissertation-Year Fellow and Graduate Student Instructor. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at ZELTIQ, in roles such as Research Manager & Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Myoscience, in roles such as Director of Clinical Operations and Principal Scientist, Director of Product Development and Principal Scientist, and Sr. Manager of Research. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Pacira BioSciences, Inc. in roles such as Senior Director, Health Outcomes Value Assessment, Director, Health Outcomes Value Assessment, and Director, Clinical Research. Jessica is currently employed at Noctrix Health, Inc. as Senior Director, Clinical Affairs and Health Economics.

Jessica Preciado obtained a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering and Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley. In May 2012, they also obtained a RAC (US) certification from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
