Lucia Coté

Lucia Coté, M.A. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, they have been working at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. as an Associate Director in the People Relations & Operations department since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in various roles. From 2008 to 2022, Lucia held positions such as Deputy Director of HR Shared Services, Senior Manager of HR Global Operations & Administration, Human Resources Manager & Business Partner, and Program Manager of Strategy Planning & Management. Lucia also worked briefly at Volt as a Program Assistant in Business Operations. Additionally, they have experience in communications and executive assistance from their time at Children's House International Adoption. Throughout their career, Lucia has been responsible for managing teams, overseeing HR operations, developing and implementing HR processes, conducting internal investigations, and collaborating with senior leaders to improve operational efficiency and the employee experience.

Lucia Coté, M.A. has a Master of Arts - MA degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Lucia also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Western Washington University. In addition, Lucia has obtained certifications in Brain-Based Conversation Skills from the NeuroLeadership Institute in 2023 and as an Accredited Insights Practitioner from Insights in 2022.
