Cahit Başar Özcan

Cahit Başar Özcan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Cahit Başar started their career in 2004 as a Freelance Writer at Merlin'in Kazanı. Cahit Başar then worked as a Design Engineer at Teknokon A.S. from 2014 to 2015. From 2007 to 2017, they co-founded and worked as a Full-Stack Developer at Teknikforum.com, which was a popular portal for Istanbul Technical University students.

In 2015, they joined Worthington Industries as a Design Engineer until 2018. Following that, they worked as a Senior Project and Design Engineer at Arıtaş Cryogenics from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Cahit joined Kripton Yazılım ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri A.Ş. as a Full-Stack Developer for a few months, and then moved on to Hepsiburada, where they worked as a Backend Developer. Cahit Başar also co-founded and served as a Co-Founder & Full Stack Developer at Dugunmuvar.com from 2017 until the present.

Currently, Cahit is employed at Virail as a Frontend Developer, where they build high-traffic user interfaces using Vue3, AlpineJS, and TailwindCSS. Cahit Başar is responsible for creating reusable components and libraries, implementing high-leverage features, and ensuring the delivery and quality of the frontend application. Cahit Başar'swork at Virail has a significant impact on optimizing user experience and conversion rates.

Cahit Başar Özcan received their Bachelor's degree in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Kadıköy Anatolian High School from 2002 to 2007, focusing on Science. In addition to their formal education, Özcan obtained several certifications from FİGES Engineering, including ANSYS Mechanical Heat Transfer, ANSYS SpaceClaim, Introduction to ANSYS DesignModeler, and Introduction to Fatigue Analysis with ANSYS Mechanical Fatigue Module, all of which they obtained in July 2016.
