Carlos Rubiales Bravo

Carlos Rubiales Bravo is a seasoned professional in the video game industry, currently serving as Game Director and Lead Game Designer at Viral Studios since April 2016. With a strong background in programming and game design, Carlos has successfully led projects that garnered multiple awards, including a publishing agreement with THQ Nordic for a title released in March 2022. As Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder of Viral Studios, Carlos focuses on both commercial and serious video game development, utilizing advanced technologies in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. In addition to development work, Carlos has extensive teaching experience, having led courses in game design and development, accumulating over 1800 hours of instructional time. With previous roles as a game designer, programmer, and software analyst across multiple companies, Carlos brings a wealth of expertise to the field. Carlos holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Extremadura and has completed a Master's in Game Creation from Universidad de La Laguna.
