Jim Macdonald

Jim Macdonald has extensive experience in the business world, having held various positions since 1997. Jim began their career as a Managing Director at First Analysis, and then went on to become a Director at Freeosk, Inc. in 2013. In 2014, they took on a Director role at Fleetworthy Solutions and Yello. In 2017, they became a Director at ViralGains, and then in 2019 they became a Director at SynergySuite. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Chairman of the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA).

Jim Macdonald received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University between 1974 and 1978. Jim then went on to get their MBA from Harvard Business School between 1978 and 1980.
