Richard Pallin

Richard Pallin has over 22 years of work experience in the diagnostics industry. Richard began their career in 1998 as a Technical Support Specialist at Chiron Corporation. Richard then moved to Roche Diagnostics in 2000, where they held various roles including Senior Market Manager, Molecular Diagnostics Sales and Marketing Manager, and Sales Specialist Molecular Diagnostics. In 2005, they became the Senior Manager of EU Diagnostics at Affymetrix. Richard then moved to Luminex Corporation in 2008 as a Business Manager UK. In 2013, they became the Director of UK Commercial Operations at Vela Diagnostics. Richard then moved to GenMark Diagnostics in 2015, where they held the roles of Regional Manager for UK and NL, and International Sales. In 2017, they became the European Commercial Director and Country Manager for the United Kingdom at Singulex. In 2019, they became the VP of Global Commercial Operations at Omixon. Richard is currently the Vice President of Sales at Virax Biolabs, and the UK Business Manager at TECHNOPATH Distribution Ltd.

Richard Pallin began their educational journey in 1977, when they attended Argyle House School and earned 10 O level passes in various subjects. From 1985-1988, they attended Monkwearmouth College of Further Education, where they achieved A level exams in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Richard then attended University of Sunderland from 1988-1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Biology. Finally, from 1994-1998, they attended University of Sunderland again, where they conducted research on the Detection of human entric viruses using PCR - Molecular Biology.
