Nick Diesel serves as the Managing Director at Virgin Atlantic Cargo since October 2024. Previously, from October 2019 to October 2024, Nick held various positions at Virgin Atlantic, including VP of Financial Planning, Head of Business Intelligence & Reporting, Recapitalisation Programme Lead, and Interim Head of Corporate Strategy. Prior to that, Nick was the Transformation Director on secondment at Connect Airways for a brief period. Nick's journey at Virgin Atlantic began in June 2015, where roles included Head of the Connect Airways Programme and Senior Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis. Nick's early career included a role as a Management Consultant in CFO Advisory at Deloitte from September 2012 to June 2015 and a Weekend Manager position at Arcadia Group Ltd from 2007 to 2011. Nick holds an ACMA CGMA designation from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Master of Arts in Business Studies and Accounting from The University of Edinburgh. Education was completed at Whitgift School.
