Gareth Norman

Gareth Norman, PCQI, has extensive experience in compliance, engineering, and maintenance within the aviation industry, predominantly with Virgin Atlantic since September 2005. Gareth currently serves as Senior Manager - Compliance (Engineering & Maintenance), overseeing UK CAA-approved NP quality management for VAA's Part 145, Part 147, and Part CAMO organizations. Throughout the career, Gareth has held various engineering roles, including managing technical authoring and documentation, leading Part CAMO transition programs, and supporting mechanical systems design across multiple fleet types. Previous positions include Deputy Lead for the Engineering Transformation Project and roles focused on design and development in mechanical systems, combined with hands-on experience as an A&C licensed technician and an engineering apprentice with in-depth exposure to various aircraft types. Gareth completed an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship and holds an NVQ Level 3 and CAA Cat A license.
