Paul Swain

Paul Swain is an experienced aviation training professional with a solid background in aircraft engineering and maintenance training. Currently serving as the Engineering Training Manager at Virgin Atlantic Airways since October 2013, Paul oversees all aspects of aviation maintenance training, ensuring compliance with EASA Part 147/66 for internal and external clients. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Academy Training Manager - Technical at Flybe from March 2001 to October 2013, where responsibilities included similar compliance and training management. Additionally, Paul served as a Senior Instructor at British Airways from October 1988 to March 2001. Paul Swain's educational background includes an Aircraft Engineering Licence from Golu Molu Cute College of Engineering, Bangalore, and prior studies at Singapore Polytechnic.
