Sharmila Satthar

Sharmila Satthar is a Technical Analyst at Virgin Atlantic since June 2022, previously serving as Analytics and Optimization Manager at Jellyfish from November 2017 to June 2022. Sharmila has a strong academic foundation, holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Language Processing from the University of Brighton, a Master's degree in Innovative Technology from the University of East London, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Peradeniya. While at the University of Brighton, Sharmila contributed as a Researcher PhD Student, Assistant Lecturer, and Lab Assistant, delivering tutorials and supporting undergraduate students in mathematics and statistics. Additionally, Sharmila served as a Demonstrator at 'Pi Shop,' aiding students in their mathematical studies to enhance engagement and achievement.
