Sophie Uys has over a decade of experience in the food and beverage sector, primarily with Virgin Atlantic since October 2010, where roles have included Manager of Journey Travel Product and various managerial positions in Inflight Services Food & Beverage. Responsibilities have encompassed delivering Food and Beverage strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Pastry Chef and Chocolatier at The Chocolate Partnership Limited from October 2007 to December 2009, focusing on new product development and the creation of desserts and chocolate products. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts Management from the University of West London, earned between 2005 and 2008.
