Alan Tough

Alan Tough has extensive aviation experience, currently serving as a B737 Captain and Training Captain at Virgin Australia since November 2005, with responsibilities including house line training for Embraer 170/190 operations and simulator instruction for re-currency training. Additionally, Alan works casually as a Driver/Operator at Saputo Inc. since July 2020, delivering farm milk and producing while ensuring cleanliness of tankers. Previous roles include B200 Captain at the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia and PEARL Aviation, providing critical aeromedical support, and First Officer on the SAAB 340 at Kendell Airlines. Alan’s educational background includes secondary education from Guildford Grammar School, completed between 1989 and 1992.
