Paul Jones

Paul Jones is an experienced executive in the aviation and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Customer and Digital Officer at Virgin Australia since June 2021. Previously, Paul held various leadership roles at Qantas from April 2011 to June 2021, including Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities encompassed the oversight of operations, flight crews, engineering, safety, and customer experience. Additional positions at Qantas included Executive Manager roles in Freight and Airports, Customer and Digital Strategy, Operations, and Commercial, showcasing expertise in P&L management, digital transformation, and strategic operations. Earlier, Paul worked at Mars from February 2007 to July 2011 in senior technology and integration roles following the Wrigley acquisition. Paul holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School in Financial Acumen and Organizational Leadership.
