Gemma Vigor is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event management and project coordination. Currently serving as Director and previously as Senior Manager for Astronaut Relations at Virgin Galactic since March 2013, Gemma has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the aerospace sector. Prior roles include serving as EA and Project Manager for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relays, where responsibilities included managing complex travel logistics for high-profile attendees. Additional experience encompasses project coordination for the Rugby World Cup 2011 with the New Zealand Rugby Union and managing internal events for prominent organizations such as lastminute.com and Ipsos MORI. Gemma began their career in event management after earning a degree in Tourism Management from Leeds Beckett University.
