Kyle Phipps

Kyle Phipps is a Senior Project Engineer at Virgin Galactic and The Spaceship Company, where responsibilities include leading engineering teams in the design, maintenance, and flight testing of the White Knight 2 aircraft. With a focus on mechanical systems, Kyle has progressed through various engineering roles, culminating in leadership positions that oversee engineering drawings, test plans, and mechanical systems modifications. Prior experience includes a position as a Design Student Engineer at NASA - Dryden and management roles at Sports Authority. Kyle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and has also studied Civil Engineering at San Francisco State University and received an Associate of Arts from Antelope Valley College.
