Asiri Sampath Wijayawardana

Asiri Sampath Wijayawardana is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and virtualization. Currently serving as a Principal Cloud Engineer at Virgin Media O2 since July 2023, Asiri has previously held roles such as IT Systems Administrator at Animal Dynamics Limited and Senior Systems Engineer - Virtualization at LSEG. With a strong background in VMware technologies, Asiri has led infrastructure resources, planned and deployed various systems, and provided training on advanced cloud solutions. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
