Patrick Owens

Patrick Owens is an experienced broadcast engineer and project manager with a diverse background in the media and communications industry. Currently serving as a studio support engineer at Virgin Media Ireland since August 2018, Patrick also holds positions as a broadcast engineer and project manager at Memnon Sony Archive, and Sony Professional Solutions Europe, where work includes collaboration with Al Jazeera Network. Additional experience includes project management of the presidential palace broadcast system at Teksignals, and site management focused on quality control at Thales Defence and Security/Vetracom Archive. Previous roles include freelance engineering at Salam Media Cast and broadcast engineering at TV3 Ireland. Patrick holds a degree in Communication, Radio and TV Broadcasting from the College of Technology Kevin St, completed in 1972.
