Charlotte Hails MSc has extensive work experience in the public sector and technology industry. Charlotte is currently the Head of Public Sector Vertical Strategy at Virgin Media O2 Business, where they lead the Justice & Policing, Health, Local Government, and Social Value sectors. Prior to this, they were the Justice & Policing Lead at Virgin Media O2 Business.

Additionally, Charlotte has held leadership roles at techUK, an industry association for technology companies. Charlotte served as the Chair of the Justice & Emergency Services Management Committee, providing strategic direction and industry perspective to techUK's Justice & Emergency Services program. Charlotte was also a member of the committee and led the "Tech for Good" working group and Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) working group.

Before transitioning to the technology sector, Charlotte gained significant experience in law enforcement. Charlotte worked at West Yorkshire Police, where they held the position of Head of Safeguarding & Public Protection as a Detective Chief Inspector. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Head of Intelligence at Counter Terrorism Policing. Charlotte began their career as a Police Constable and worked their way up to Detective Inspector, with experience in patrol, serious crime investigations, offender management, intelligence, cybercrime, and organizational change.

Charlotte Hails MSc completed their education at various institutions. Charlotte began their academic journey at Northumbria University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology in 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Police Science and Management at the University of Portsmouth from 2004 to 2007. Lastly, they attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, where they attained another MSc degree, this time in Leadership and Management, from 2013 to 2018.
