Lloyd Hummel has a diverse and extensive work history in the music industry. Lloyd most recently served as EVP Global Commercial Strategy at Virgin Music Group, where they led various strategic initiatives and teams related to digital and physical commerce, label management, artist and label marketing, and catalog strategy. Prior to that, they held the position of SVP Global Commercial Strategy at Ingrooves Music Group, where they played a key role in the transition from physical to digital music distribution and partnered with BMG to launch their masters business in the US. Before joining Ingrooves, Hummel worked at Fontana Distribution as VP Sales & Production, overseeing national sales, physical production, and the growth of their digital business. Lloyd began their career at Universal Music Group, where they held several roles including Regional Director, Director of Label Marketing, Sales Representative, and Artist Development Representative. Hummel's early experience in the industry includes co-founding and operating a CD store on the campus of Arizona State University called Hoodlums Music and working as a Buyer/Marketing Director at Zia Record Exchange.
