Melanie Pillette

Melanie Pillette is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as the Senior Director of Production at Virgin Music since March 2021. As a Co-Founder of Biscuit Town Recording Co. since August 2017, Melanie has also held key roles at Better Noise Music as Vice President of Production and Digital Fulfillment from January 2018 to March 2021, and as Production Manager. Previous positions include Release Planning Manager and Label Coordinator at Sony Music Entertainment, Label Manager at The Animal Farm, and various roles including event management and artist management internships. With a strong educational background that includes a Master’s degree in Culture, Policy & Management from City, University of London, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Management from the University of the Arts, Melanie possesses expertise in fundraising, marketing, and managing financial accounts.
