Sharon Riley

Sharon Riley is an experienced professional in the music industry, currently serving as Director of Business Legal Affairs at Virgin Music Group since September 2022, where responsibilities include drafting and negotiating music distribution agreements globally. Prior to this role, Sharon held various positions at Ingrooves Music Group, culminating in the Director of Global Business Development, focusing on licensing contracts and business opportunities from 2010 to 2022. Additional experience includes a secondment as a Trainee Solicitor at Russells Solicitors and roles in business development at the Association of Independent Festivals and the Association of Independent Music. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, as well as a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music from the University of the West of Scotland.
