Damien Kennedy

Damien Kennedy is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive in the food tech industry, currently serving as the CEO of groceriX since December 2022, where the focus is on creating healthy and affordable food options. As the founder of Wheyhey, started in January 2014, Damien has led a VC-backed company recognized for disrupting food and nutrition markets. In addition to these roles, Damien holds various non-executive director positions at frkl. and Tranquillity, and serves as a mentor at IGNITE University College Cork and as a Virgin StartUp Pioneer. Contributions to the community include advisory roles with the IIBN and the Global Irish Economic Forum, which aims to bolster entrepreneurship and innovation in Ireland. Damien has an academic background from Brunel University London and University College Cork.
