Erica Jimbo

Erica Jimbo is an accomplished performing artist and choreographer with extensive experience in the performing arts industry. Currently serving as an Associate Choreographer and Show Captain/Performer for Virgin Voyages since January 2020, Erica played a crucial role in preparing shows for the launch of the Scarlet Lady cruise ship. In addition to this, Erica has been a performing artist with Fuerza Bruta since 2015, showcasing talents in aerial harness, dance, drumming, and singing, and has held positions such as Dance Captain during international tours. As a freelance aerialist performer since 2014, Erica specializes in various disciplines including silks, hoop, and trapeze. Co-founding Mawu Dance in 2006, Erica actively collaborates as a performer and mentor. With a solid educational background, including a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the North Carolina School of the Arts and additional studies at New York University, Erica continues to enrich the arts community through teaching and performance.
