Meredith Weiss is the current Vice President for Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. Meredith has extensive experience in finance and administration, having previously worked as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor – Finance & Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from January 2012 to December 2016. In this role, they oversaw and reported on $3.1B in operating revenue to support 30,000+ students and 12,000+ faculty and staff. Meredith also oversaw accounting financial reporting, internal controls, and university systems. Meredith Weiss has a PhD in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University, and a Master of Information Science from North Carolina Central University. Meredith also has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the University of Delaware.
