Todd Haymore

Todd Haymore is currently a Board Member at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to their current position, Haymore served as the Vice President of the Universal Leaf Tobacco Company from January 2006 to December 2007. In 2012, they assisted Governor McDonnell in the creation of the Governor's Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development (AFID) Fund, a multi-million dollar economic development incentive program specifically geared toward existing or new agricultural and forestry value-added or processing facilities. From January 2016 to December 2018, Haymore served as the Secretary of Commerce and Trade under the administration of Governor Terry McAuliffe, overseeing the economic, community, and workforce development of the Commonwealth. In 2014, they became the Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry under the McAuliffe administration and served in that role until 2016.

After receiving their BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Richmond, Todd Haymore went on to get their Master's in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
