Beth Ficco-Bettley

Beth Ficco-Bettley has extensive experience in the banking and business sectors. Beth is currently working as a Vice President at Virginia Community Capital, where they focus on small business and commercial lending. In this role, they help businesses secure financing and supports underserved areas and minority or woman-owned businesses.

Prior to their current position, Beth was a Small Business Owner at Chapter 2 Enterprises Inc, where they provided marketing and social media services to small businesses. Beth also organized specialty events and conventions and developed marketing solutions to achieve business goals.

Beth has also served as the CEO of Capullo Sportfishing, where they provided strategic direction to a sportfishing tourism business. Beth worked with tour operators and travel agencies in the USA and Costa Rica, and produced newsletters in Spanish and English for customers and prospects.

Earlier in their career, Beth held leadership positions at EVB - Eastern Virginia Bankshares and Bank of Virginia. At EVB, they served as the Senior Vice President and Director of Small Business Banking, overseeing all aspects of the small business lending department. Beth mentored and trained lenders and developed action plans to grow the small business portfolio.

Before joining EVB, Beth worked at Mohawk Industries as a Territory Sales Manager and at BB&T as a Vice President in the Business Banking division. Beth started their career at NationsBank of Virginia (now Bank of America) as an Assistant Vice President.

Throughout their career, Beth has demonstrated strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a dedication to supporting small businesses and underserved communities.

Beth Ficco-Bettley attended Belmont University from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. Prior to their time at Belmont University, in 1981, they briefly attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, and Belmont College to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.

Additionally, Beth Ficco-Bettley has obtained a certification as a Certified Trainer from The Pacific Institute in August 2016.
