Ghufran Ahmad

Ghufran Ahmad, MBA, is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in business and commercial banking. Currently serving as Vice President and Business and Commercial Banking Relationship Manager II at Locus Bank, previously Virginia Community Capital (VCC) Bank, from December 2022 to March 2024. Prior to this role, Ghufran held the position of Director at the Business Finance Center at George Mason University, focusing on a CDFI loan fund associated with the U.S. Treasury from July 2019 to December 2022. Earlier banking experience includes serving as Vice President of Business Banking Relationship Manager at M&T Bank from April 2014 to April 2015 and at Truist from June 2006 to April 2014, where Ghufran advanced from Assistant Vice President and Financial Center Leader to Vice President. Ghufran holds an MBA from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Preston University, as well as a professional certification in Leadership Development from BB&T University.
