Sherry Whitlow

Sherry Whitlow has extensive work experience in the banking industry, with positions at Virginia Credit Union, Henrico County Public Schools, and BB&T. Sherry started their career at BB&T as a Branch Operations Manager from 1995 to 1997. Sherry then moved on to Virginia Credit Union, where they held various roles including Assistant Branch Manager from 1998 to 2000, Learning and Development Specialist from 2000 to 2002, and Senior Learning and Development Sales Consultant from 2002 to 2004.

After working at Henrico County Public Schools as an Elementary School Teacher from 2004 to 2007, Sherry returned to Virginia Credit Union in 2007 as a Senior Learning and Development Sales Consultant. Sherry subsequently held positions as Sales and Continued Education Manager from 2014 to 2018, Director of Learning and Development from 2018 to 2020, and currently serves as the VP of Talent Development.

Sherry Whitlow earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, they completed a Training Industry Course. Sherry also holds several certifications, including Customer Service: Handling Abusive Customers from LinkedIn, Problem Solving Techniques from LinkedIn, How to Design and Deliver Training Programs from LinkedIn, Elementary School Teacher from Old Dominion University, DISC Certified from DISC Cert.us, and Sales Training Certified for Tellers, Desk Representatives, and Contact Center from Omega.
