Stewart Baker has extensive experience in emergency management, serving as a Technical Specialist and Hurricane Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) since September 1999. Prior to this, Stewart held the positions of Emergency Coordinator and Town Manager for the Town of Chincoteague from March 1990 to May 1999. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from Virginia Tech, completed in 1975, and also attended Atlantic Christian College from 1973 to 1974.
