William (Billy) Chrimes has extensive experience in emergency management and search and rescue operations, having served at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management since September 2008 in various roles, including Search and Rescue Specialist and Deputy Search and Rescue Coordinator. Responsibilities include administering the Commonwealth of Virginia Search and Rescue Training program, supervising adjunct instructors, and coordinating SAR missions. Prior experience includes positions as Captain- Fire EMS at Albemarle County Fire Rescue and ALS Technician at Botetourt County Emergency Services, along with volunteer work as a Wilderness Rescue Technician for Triangle Rescue Group. William's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Management from American Public University System and a Cardiac Technician certification from Tidewater Community College.
