Biraj Gautam

Biraj Gautam, P.E., is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at the Virginia Department of Transportation since November 2019, with prior experience as a Project Geotechnical Engineer and Staff Geotechnical Engineer at Terracon from November 2013 to November 2019. Earlier, Biraj worked as a Geotechnical/Transportation Engineer at Marino Engineering Associates, Inc. from September 2008 to August 2013 and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso from August 2006 to September 2008. Biraj Gautam holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering obtained in Nepal (2000-2004), along with an I.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from St. Xavier's Campus, Nepal (1997-1999).
