Denise Bulick Cantwell

Denise Bulick Cantwell is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the District Construction Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation since May 2012. Denise has held various roles within the organization, including District Project Controls Engineer, Section Manager, and Project Controls Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes a position as Assistant Dean and Associate Professor at Northern Virginia Community College, where curriculum development and teaching in construction management and civil engineering technology were primary responsibilities. Additionally, Denise operated as a construction management consultant with Denise M. Cantwell, LLC, and held engineering positions at MBP, The Boeing Company, WSP, and Edwards and Kelcey. Denise holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
