Desiree Jarrell, MPA, VCO, currently serves as a Procurement Officer at the Virginia Department of Transportation since March 2021. Previously, Desiree worked as a Procurement Specialist for the City of Chesapeake from December 2019 to March 2021 and as a Paralegal at the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Virginia Beach from December 2006 to September 2012, where responsibilities included supporting the litigation of criminal cases through the preparation of legal documents. Desiree holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Old Dominion University and has earned certificates in Public Procurement and Paralegal Studies, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.
