Ning Li

Ning Li, PhD, PE, has over 18 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering. Currently serving as the Safety Engineering & Strategies Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation since December 2005, Ning Li has also held positions as Traffic Asset Program Manager, Acting Assistant State Traffic Engineer, and Senior Transportation Engineer within the organization. Prior to this, Ning Li worked as a Transportation Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation from September 2004 to December 2005. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Transportation Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and dual master's degrees in Management Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering/Business Administration from Tsinghua University.
