Landon Webber has a diverse and extensive work experience. Landon started their career as a Student Proctor at Lincoln College, University of Oxford in 2012. After that, they served as a Policy Research Intern at Stand for Children and as a Legal Assistant and Intern at Memphis Area Legal Services Inc. in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Landon then worked as a Research Fellow at Rhodes Institute for Regional Studies at Rhodes College and as a Research Associate at Memphis-Shelby County Schools. Landon also served as an Analyst and Senior Analyst in the State Economic Competitiveness Group (SEC) at Louisiana Economic Development from 2015 to 2017. Landon gained research experience as a Research Intern at The Brookings Institution in 2020. Landon then joined Virginia Economic Development Partnership and held the positions of Senior Analyst and Manager in the Economic Competitiveness department from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Research and Analytics at Virginia Economic Development Partnership starting from 2022.
Landon Webber has a comprehensive education background. Starting in 2010, they attended Rhodes College where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government, as well as History. As part of their undergraduate education, they also participated in a Study Abroad Program at the University of Oxford in 2012, focusing on subjects such as Art History, History, and Literature.
After completing their bachelor's degree in 2014, Landon went on to pursue higher education at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. From 2019 to 2021, they attended the university and obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree, specializing in Public Policy Analysis.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Landon Webber has achieved the certification of Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia in May 2021.
