Shailendra Depura has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. In their current role as Vice President of Product Management at Virginia Farm Bureau Family of Companies, they oversee the largest domestic insurance company in Virginia. Prior to this, they served as the SE Regional Leader/Sr. Product Manager at UPC Insurance, where they managed a portfolio of over $700 million in the South East Region. Shailendra also held the position of VP Product Management at Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance, where they handled a large affinity-based carrier with over $1 billion in total written premium. Additionally, Shailendra has worked at Nationwide Insurance, Unitrin Direct, and Rational in various roles, including Director of Product Management, Marketing Manager, and Program Manager.

Shailendra Depura pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Manipal Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial and Production Engineering. Following this, they attended Boston College from 1999 to 2001, completing their Master's in Business Administration (MBA). Finally, from 2004 to 2007, Shailendra enrolled in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program to enhance their knowledge in the field of Investments.
