Tammy Maxey possesses extensive experience in educational leadership and program management, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom since July 2006, where initiatives target educators from preschool to post-secondary levels. Previously, Tammy held various roles within Amelia County Public Schools from August 1989 to June 2006, including Middle School Principal, High School Assistant Principal, and Special Education Teacher. Tammy's academic credentials include a Post Master's Certificate in Principalship from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master's Degree in Vocational Technical Education with a specialization in Vocational Special Needs from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University.
